As the Environmental Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for guiding Fujitsu on its contributions towards a future where people and nature thrive in harmony. This role will focus on three core areas of climate action, circular economy and nature positivity.Reporting into the Head of Purpose, you form part of a team dedicated to empowering Fujitsu as a market leader with a purpose-led model, showcasing excellence in caring for people, planet and equitable prosperity through our trusted digital solutions. We achieve this by fostering a broader sense of purpose amongst our stakeholders, providing best practice guidance on how to embed purpose into our work and create impact on issues most material to our business.The ideal candidate will have a background in creating environmental sustainability strategies with positive alignment for people and prosperity, excellent communication and analytical skills and the ability to influence a diverse stakeholder group in an international organisation.The ideal candidate must also be able to maintain strong governance throughout and be instrumental in Fujitsu's climate related financial disclosures amongst other regulatory requirements.About youTo succeed in this role you will have:Ideally you need to have around 4-6 years demonstrated practical experience in environmental sustainability preferably within a large corporate or complex organisation.Strong commercial understanding of the issues and opportunities surrounding sustainability in the private sectorYou need to be a creative, organised, detail-oriented, highly motivated worker to work in a team with likeminded individualsExcellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to influence senior executivesExperience in carbon accounting and emissions reportingBachelors degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field is desiredExperience in managing an ISO14001 certified management system is desiredWhy Fujitsu?We are an organization with a strong set of values and a history of respecting fairness and equality, whilst promoting diversity, equity and inclusion.
