As a regulated business, Escrow.com has ongoing reporting obligations to numerous regulators, and this key role will ensure all reporting is accurate and timely. This position focuses on reconciliations and analysis within a trust accounting environment, and you will also assist with month-end close, bank reconciliations, and more.You will be highly organised, extremely detail-oriented, able to meet deadlines, trustworthy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills are essential as you will interact with many stakeholders across the business.This exciting opportunity is a 9-month fixed-term position, with the possibility of permanent employment within our finance team.Responsibilities:Perform daily bank reconciliationsConduct ongoing reconciliation tasks relating to trust accountingOngoing regulatory reporting to numerous regulators in the USProviding support and backup to Escrow payment agents, who perform trust Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functionsPrepare of affiliate commissionsPreparation of schedules for statutory and regulatory auditsProcessing of month end tasks including revenue journals, fixed assets, depreciation, accruals, and consolidation of the Escrow divisionProvide support and backup to other finance functions as neededRequirements:Appropriate accounting qualifications (CA or CPA, or currently studying towards these qualifications).Highly proficient in Excel, with the ability to work with filters and pivot tables to manage large volumes of data.Experience with Netsuite is an advantageProven reconciliation experience, particularly bank reconciliations within a high volume environmentProactive in identifying inefficiencies and committed to improving internal processes.Willingness to work flexible hours, particularly during month-endAbility to work autonomouslyCapable of meeting time and pressure deadlines with a strong attention to detail.Excellent communication and numerical skillsKnowledge in SQL would be beneficial but not essentialBenefits:A meritocratic culture with the ability to take ownership and fast track your career growth.You will be working on an Alexa top ranked website, solving complex, internet scale and global problems in product & engineering with over 74 million customers across 247 countries, regions & territories.Fully stocked kitchen, complemented by a bar with a breathtaking viewDelicious Friday lunches from a rotating selection of local restaurants.Engaging Weekly Town Halls with global presentations and open Q&A sessions with our CEO (feel free to ask him anything!).Hack-a-thons - Get hacking and programming in this quarterly company-wide where teams create solutions to existing problems and win prizes.
