The following lists are not exhaustive, and the engineer is expected to assume any and all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in the following.What you`ll be doing:Ability to design and develop machine controls for heat seal packaging machineryDesign electrical schematics using AutoCAD Software or equivalentAbility to develop electrical enclosure panel layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent computer softwareDevelop machine controls Bill of Materials using Syteline ERP systemTesting and debug of electrical control circuitsAbility to integrate various inkjet, laser, or robotic systemsProgramming of machine control components consisting of A-B PLCs, HMIs and othersAbility to manage multiple projectsAssist in machine manual development & quoting needsExperience programming other types of PLCs (ex. Omron) and HMIs is a plusWork and communicate effectively with other groups within engineering and assembly departmentsPerform final machinery check-offs to verify all systems functionalityHelp customer support thru phone support to answer technical questions, support during machinery factory acceptance visits, and other issuesProvide technical assistance to machine assembly and sales as requiredCommunicate effectively to department manager regarding project progress, achieving goals, and customer expectationsJC Growth Solutions
