The position also has access to a rostered day off -RDO system- which requires the applicant to work an additional 2.5 hrs a week to accrue hours for an RDO which will be rostered to be taken every 3 weeks. Rostering is done in six-week periods and requires a weekly rotation between an early shift 6am to 2:40pm and late shift 9:50am to 6:30pm whilst also working a minimum of 1 in 3 weekends. The applicant will also be required to undertake on call duties every 3 weeks for a period of 7 days which entails responding to after-hours calls and potentially attending locations within the local government area within 40 mins of receiving calls.
