With more than 45 years of expertise and experience in the European markets, Bank of China Luxembourg extended its roots from Luxembourg and covering 14 institutions located in 13 European countries and becoming Bank of China Europe, since 2022.Bank of China Europe adheres to the guidance of Bank of China group and continues to grow and expand its business coverage across the world, offering comprehensive business solutions to its clients worldwide with its globalized operations and diversified platforms.Today, Bank of China Europe comprises an international workforce with a multicultural background of more than 30 different countries and regions with over 600 employees.Job DescriptionPosition: ESG Project Manager- CSRD reportingFinancial Management DepartmentJob purpose:Lead the project team to implement reliable ESG sustainability data reported across multiple cross-border institutions.Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:Bridge external consultants ESG specialists contracted for the project and the Bank’s internal stakeholders.Support consultants to conduct materiality assessment, gap analysis, data readiness review, and gap remediation.Lead the change to existing systems, supported by IT, for data collection and management.Implement reliable and auditable processes and controls for data collection, analysis and reporting.Perform business analysis when necessary to drive process changes.Educate and guide the staff in charge of the data collection, cultivate understanding and buy-in.Draft project plan with concrete measures and milestones, and oversee the execution of each work stream in detail.Stay on top of regulatory requirement changes, project timeline and reporting deadlines.Conduct meetings and report detailed project progress to senior management and committees.QualificationsProfile:Experience in project managementBasic knowledge of ESG & CSRDBasic knowledge of Finance and BankingA Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant field.5+ years of experience in ESG, project management, Finance or Banking.Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.Additional InformationThis position is based in Luxembourg and open with immediate effect.
