This position will be based out of an Amazon corporate office in Luxembourg, and requires the ability to travel periodically.GTS' operations span across all over Europe, with compliance at the forefront. GTS Risk & Monitoring is looking for a high-judgment individual to join us in a new team as a Trade Compliance Program Manager to build and maintain compliance monitoring frameworks.We are looking for an individual with Trade and data/automation knowledge, who can apply their expertise to: 1) develop audit and monitoring reporting frameworks across different business lanes, 2) operate cross-functionally to identify process optimization and automation opportunities, 3) build data and reporting standards, and 4) generate efficiencies and deliver saving repurposing strategies to key stakeholders and partners, such as ORC leadership, Trade Legal, Trade Ops, Supply Chain, Finance, and Trade Regulatory Engagement. The successful candidate will have exceptional organization skills, including cross-functionally, as well as strong data and tech-driven mindset and capabilities, but also excellent soft skills that enable trustworthy relationships with stakeholders and partners. Finally, the successful candidate will display good team spirit and autonomy.If you wish to innovate on behalf of customers, are passionate about driving compliance, reducing risks and making an impact on society, come join our team and make history!Key job responsibilitiesBuild sustainable and scalable audit and monitoring reporting frameworksAssess, optimize, standardize, and streamline audit and monitoring processes, with an emphasis on automation and/or worldwide parity wherever possibleLiaise with partners and stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Finance, Tax, etc.) on strategical short/medium/long term process initiatives to help improve trade complianceCoordinate with off-shore audit execution teams to identify further data / automation needs or opportunitiesStay informed about Trade technologies, and propose corresponding optimization strategiesMeet individual and team goals with the highest standards and diligenceLead and/or participate in special projects and/or assignments as necessaryA day in the lifeIn this role, no two days will be exactly the same, but regular activities will include:Defining new, or optimizing existing audit and monitoring reporting frameworksIdentifying automation strategies, and securing approval from cross-functional leadersWorking with key partners and stakeholders on short to long-term solutions that improve trade audit speed and qualityCollaborating with technical teams to improve scalability, efficiency, relevancy, and accuracy of monitoring programsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Proven experience in data and/or tech initiatives (e.g., process automation, dashboard generation, etc.)- Basic Trade knowledge (import, export, customs, etc.)- Risk management knowledge, including handling of confidential data- Ability to work with across teams, including from other departments (e.g., Legal, Finance, etc.), with the highest levels of team spirit and integrity- Excellent knowledge of Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the timePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Trade expertise- Audit and/or compliance management experience- Project and/or program management experience- Process optimization and streamlining experience (e.g., Six Sigma)- Fluent in at least one of the following languages: French, German, Italian, Polish, and SpanishAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
