We are looking for a highly motivatedGroup Planning Managerto lead our planning processes and ensure the seamless availability of goods to our customers.Key Responsibilities:Management Responsibilities:Sales and Operational Planning (SOP):Establish key principles and tools for the SOP process.Facilitate and document the SOP meetings throughout the planning cycle, ensuring decisions and actions are clearly recorded.Lead SOP meetings, assigning tasks to stakeholders and ensuring thorough follow-up and issue escalation.Ensure the implementation of SOP decisions, regularly updating management on progress, identifying potential issues early, and activating solutions.Execute the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) cycle timely and accurately, maintaining responsibility for its correctness.Customer Service / Bulk planning and Stakeholder Coordination:Oversee customer service activities, pinpointing areas for attention, improvement, and standardization. Advocate for automation and a rigorous approach to exception management.Manage bulk planning to meet production targets and customer satisfaction. Ensure optimal performance of production lines, timely availability of semifinished products, and control of scrap and remaining stocks.Procurement and Inventory Management:Oversee the purchasing of raw materials and packaging components, maintaining appropriate stock levels and control of stock coverage KPIs.Supervise supplier implementation, escalate issues, and monitor critical drivers (new projects, market changes, etc.). Manage obsolescence and maintain working capital aligned with company targets.Master Data Management:Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability. Oversee the cleansing and management of product, customer, and supplier data.Operational Responsibilities:Directly manage the planning of finished goods production lines at SKU level across manufacturing sites.Focus on optimizing customer satisfaction (On-Time In-Full delivery as per contractual agreements), managing new product trials, anticipating issues, and optimizing production line output.Rigorously control working capital parameters and customer service indicators to ensure optimal performance.Candidate Profile:5-8 years in a complex manufacturing environment (preferably in FMCG, Pharma, Automotive, or Chemicals).Degree in Engineering or Economics preferred.Fluent in professional English; additional languages are an asset.Rigorous and methodical approach to work.Pragmatic and open-minded with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Due to the high volume of applications we receive, if you do not hear back from us within three weeks, it means that your application was not successful.Jobs.lu
