Take the next step in your career with us today.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee all trust accounting activities, ensuring compliance with state regulations and firm policies.Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records related to trust accounts.Conduct regular audits of trust accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.Reconcile trust accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.Collaborate with attorneys and staff to manage client funds and ensure proper handling of trust transactions.Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents as required.Provide financial analysis and reports to support decision-making processes.Stay updated on changes in trust accounting laws and regulations in Florida.Train and mentor junior accounting staff on trust accounting procedures and best practices.Qualifications:CPA certification required.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with specific experience in trust accounting within a law firm setting.In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, rules, regulations, and ethics related to trust accounting in Florida.Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.About Company:PLG Damage Attorneys, PLLC is a law firm founded in Florida that specializes in providing skilled, qualified, and effective legal representation to policyholders who have been wrongfully denied or underpaid by their property insurance providers.
