We create city-sized solutions—building and operating safer, smarter, and more sustainable roads—to solve pressing transport challenges that are slowing cities down.About the roleWe’re seeking a Senior Manager Corporate Strategy to play a key part in driving and executing the group strategy agenda across Transurban; through facilitating annual Board Strategy Days, integrating our strategic priorities with resource and capital allocation decisions, actively shaping mid-term strategic and enterprise planning and partnering across the business to problem-solve, conceptualise and drive the clarity and thought leadership that that will help to deliver on our strategy and influence the future shape of the company.Reporting to the Head of Corporate Strategy, you’ll work collaboratively with a small, adaptive and high-performing team with the opportunity to build effective relationships with internal functions and market teams across the Transurban Group.As our Senior Manager Corporate Strategy you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.Day-to-day, you will:Lead and contribute to the development and execution of Transurban's corporate strategy, including market analysis, business planning, strategic initiatives, and M&A opportunitiesCollaborate with senior leaders across the organisation to provide strategic insights, guidance and recommendations on key business issues and opportunitiesSupport the development and communication of Transurban's strategic narrative and value proposition to internal and external stakeholders, including investors, analysts, regulators and mediaEnsure we remain informed on current and emerging trends and potential disruptors, and the implications for the companyContribute to the continuous improvement of the strategy function, including processes, tools, frameworks and best practicesBe part of a team of high-performing strategy professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation and collaborationThis role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:5-10 year’s experience in strategy consulting and/or an established yet progressive corporate strategy environmentExperience gained in (or supporting) organisations with a complex change, transformation or growth agenda, underpinned by detailed knowledge of strategic problem solving and frameworksA proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans and projects in dynamic environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data and information into actionable insights and recommendationsExcellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across different functions and levelsA collaborative and constructive approach, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and foster a positive team cultureA degree and/or post-graduate qualification in business, finance, engineering or a related discipline from a reputable institutionInfrastructure and/or transportation industry experience (and passion!) highly regarded.If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.With a career at Transurban, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits, including:A range of flexible working and leave options, including the option to purchase an additional six weeks of leave each year16 weeks paid parental leave (regardless of gender or carer status), with no waiting period, with Superannuation paid during unpaid leave as wellLearning and development opportunities to support your career interestsHealth and wellbeing support—access to Headspace and our EAP program, wellness facilities, and moreShare offers and insurance benefitsSocial activities, community give-back programs and paid volunteer daysWe offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests.
