We focus on design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, decommissioning and dismantling also covering logistics and documentation.Job DescriptionWe are looking for experience individuals to join us on an innovative Steelwork Engineering project. The key activities you will be carrying out will include:Producing steelwork platform designs compliant with the Eurocode3 other relevant codesLiaising with the building layout and piping teams to coordinate the designMaintaining the QA procedures in delivering the SW designWorking with the CAD designers in the preparation of the designdrawings/models * Managing engineering changes in line with company proceduresResolving identified technical issuesReceive, analyse and verify the consistency of the input dataProduces the deliverables for which they are responsible (assumption notes, technical specifications, calculation notes)Coordinate CAD DesignPerform design activities for fastenings and anchorages in concreteDevelop substantiation reports and complete surveillance of applicabletechnical documents * Perform technical verifications of civil engineering documents for theirbuilding * Create and maintain and responsible for the Design Risk RegisterResponsible for anchorage design activitiesQualificationsEssential:Use of 3D modelling and structural analysis tools.Knowledge / Understanding of PWRs would be an advantage.Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulationsExperience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would beadvantageousKnowledge/understanding of the Eurocodes related to civil engineering andespecially knowledge of the design of fastenings and anchorages in concrete.Knowledge of the design of reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concretestructures.Additional InformationLong-term contractCompetitive salaryLocation: Bristol3 days on-site optional 2 days WFH20 days’ holiday plus bank holidaysWe are an equal opportunities employer and highly value Diversity and Inclusion.We encourage, welcome and support applications from People of all genders and cultural backgrounds.Your application will be reviewed based on your experience, skills and motivations.Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need any reasonable adjustments within the recruitment process.We are here to help you be at your best!Segula Technologies
