Dentologie is actively seeking a Dental Hygienist to join in a full-time role with our 4 new Seattle office location(s), including Queen Anne (1900 Queen Anne Ave N) -- opening this September! With 11 awesome locations (and counting) in Chicago, IL, Dentologie is excited about launching in Seattle this summer!As a member of our incredible hygiene team, you can expect:Excellent compensation ($65-75/hr, depending on experience)Comprehensive benefits package, including commuter allowance and scrubsA schedule designed for work-life balanceIndustry-leading equipment and technology, including Gemini Diode lasers, Piezo scalers, intraoral cameras, x-rays with Dexis sensors, iTero scanners, and the VELscope oral cancer assessment system.Lead Hygienist mentorship and support$7,500 sign-on bonus*!Regarding work schedule, Monday - Thursday our offices have a morning shift (6:30am-1:30pm) and an evening shift (12:30 or 1:30 pm-7:30pm). On Friday, we have one shift from 6:30am-2:30pm. As a full-time hygienist, we would ask that you are comfortable working Monday-Friday and 5 shifts per week, with 3 morning shifts (including Fridays) and 2 evening shifts.Responsibilities:Provide patient care in all dental periodontal services in which you are licensed to perform.Assist dentist chairside during examinations.Provide a 10-star Patient experience.Contribute positively to an engaging corporate culture.Prepares instruments and materials for procedures for your patients.Make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair.Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and provide oral health education including at home care.Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos.Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations, periodontal charting as well as planned treatment.Monitor daily supplies for restocking.Provide patients with instructions for oral care following periodontal procedures as well as other dental treatment procedures completed by dentists.Follow infection control protocol by preparing and sterilizing instruments, equipment, and ops.Required Skills/Abilities:Ability to regularly travel to at least 2 Dentologie office locations.Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication & customer service skills.Organizational skills and attention to detail.Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Clinical knowledge, skills along with patient care.Prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Education and Experience:Registered Dental Hygiene degree from an accredited program.Active Registered Dental Hygiene license within the state of Washington.Local Anesthesia certified.Dentologie Benefits & Perks:Medical, Dental and Vision insurance401k w/Match$7,500 Sign-on Bonus (for those at least 3 days/week)Free Dental coverage for employeesEmployer-paid Life and Disability insurance$50/month for mass transit or parking expenses$150 annual scrubs allowanceFlexible spending accountsPaid holidays off, paid personal and sick timeMonthly bonus and referral bonus opportunities.In-office continued education (CE) offered 2-3 times a yearLaser Certification course providedSupport from Lead Hygienist in early career training and continued mentorship/growth opportunities at Dentologie.Upbeat team and fun culture.
