Being able to demonstrate your experience in maintaining up-to-date, relevant, and well-understood people-related policies will be a focus for us too.This is an on-site position in a key strategic location that serves as a primary HR point of contact - so your passion, agility and proactive skills will be a real benefit to you as you support the business through an exciting growth programme.Your responsibilities will include:Proactively assisting with employee relations activities, such as investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievancesSupport the preparation and successful delivery of People-related change initiativesStay up to date with changes in employment law and assess their impact on people-related policiesUpdate people-related policies as needed to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with internal and external factorsCollaborate with the HR Operations team to maintain up-to-date and accurate employee data, processing changes according to agreed timelinesProactively support the development of new People Leaders, ensuring their understanding of our people processesAssist in the preparation of Employment Tribunal paperwork when requiredMonitor key people metrics and take action to drive improvement where necessarySupport business leaders in developing and updating role profiles to ensure their ongoing relevanceCollaborate with relevant stakeholders to manage end-to-end processes throughout the employee lifecycleWhat you will bring:Up to date knowledge of employment lawConfidence to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels across the businessAbility to successful plan short, medium and long term workloadAn understanding of employee relations processes and the associated legal requirementsExperience in using data / insights to identify opportunitiesAbility to collaborate across business areas and build strong relationships with keystakeholders at all levels throughout the organisationPrevious experience of dealing with Trade Unions would be beneficial but not essentialAbility to apply HR generalist knowledge and experience across HR policies and processesWhat we offer…We believe in creating a diverse and inclusive culture where your voice can be heard.
