Metal Roofing TradespersonLocation: Gateshead, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSWPay Rate: $35 - $50 per hourAbout Us:We specialize in a variety of projects including Defence Projects, Water Reservoirs, Warehouses, Power Station Shutdown work, Education Buildings, Apartments, Fall Protection and Safety Systems, Roof and Wall Cladding, Fascia, Guttering and Downpipes, and Industrial Roofing Work.Your Role:Install commercial and industrial metal roofing, wall cladding, guttering/downpipes, roof penetration flashings, and skylights.Install height safety systems, including access platforms, ladder systems, anchor points, static lines, walkways, and handrails on new and existing sites.Liaise with clients, builders, and contractors onsite.Provide guidance and training to other employees and apprentices.Conduct site measurements and plan jobs.Liaise with suppliers and order materials.Work with your hands in an outdoor environment on construction sites.Requirements:Physically suited and motivated to work in outdoor construction environments.Excellent people skills and ability to motivate and inspire team members.Communicate with customers and clients in a friendly and professional manner.Willing to work overtime if required.Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.Self-motivated, organized, punctual, and reliable with strong work ethics.Essential Qualifications:General Construction Induction card.Driver's license.Metal Roofing Trade Qualification.Desirable Qualifications:MEWP under 11m.High-risk work license (WP, DG, SB).Work @ Heights training.IRATA or SPRAT certification.Benefits of Working with Us:Workwear clothing, all necessary PPE, and power tools provided.Annual leave and RDO entitlement.Interesting and rewarding work across various sites and project types.Opportunity for career progression within the business.High safety standards in accordance with SafeWork NSW and regulations.Superannuation and redundancy paid monthly.Saturday work available with overtime rates.Join our team and enjoy a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and career advancement.Quality Recruitment Services
