Student leadership position for the University of Adelaide College26 days’ annual leave, including 1 for your birthdayJoin our team as the Head of College Services! This pivotal role is all about crafting an exceptional student journey. You'll be the go-to person for all non-academic matters, from enrollment to student support and progression. Plus, you'll orchestrate key events and ensure students receive exceptional pastoral care. Collaborating with various stakeholders, your mission is to create the ultimate student experience. Accuracy and timely communication are paramount, and your flexibility and proactive attitude will be keyResponsibilities:Where required, lead administration recruitment in collaboration with College DirectorEnsure new administration staff are inductedCoordinate professional development program for administration staff to ensure staff are effectively supported and developedConduct performance reviews to meet best practiceIn cooperation with People and Culture and Payroll manage administration and staff requestsManage College Service Adviser accountabilities around social programs, student rep matters, social media, pastoral care & non-academic counselling mattersManage College Service Adviser accountabilities around student enrolment statusesManage and Plan Orientation for all incoming studentsWork with the Enrolment team around outstanding student fees, cancelling of CoE’s, student deferrals and releasesRequirements:Bachelor level qualifications (essential)1-2 years experience in a student services role working with international students (essential)Leadership experience - Ability to innovate, lead change, and motivate others (essential)Up-to-date working knowledge of key legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to international students (essential)Positive and supportive communication style with experience across a variety of key stakeholdersKnowledge of ESOS Code of PracticeProven experience in event management including planning, organising, and hosting eventsExcellent verbal and written communicationUniversity of Adelaide CollegeThe University of Adelaide College specialises in providing international students with the first step towards their undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Adelaide.
