At Salt Air Inc., we believe in giving you the tools to reel in big opportunities and make waves in your career.Your New Role:As our Controller, you will:Assist the CFO with managing all accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P.Coordinate and help prepare the budget and financial forecasts, reporting variances.Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.Coordinate and assist with regulatory reporting, including Certified Payroll Reports.Research technical accounting issues for compliance and provide support to the CFO as needed.Support the month-end and year-end close processes.Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and sales tax filings.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.Handle additional controller duties as necessary.What's In It For You:Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $80,000 per year.Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with matching, PTO, and job training.Opportunity to work in the beautiful Greater Wilmington, North Carolina area.Why You'll Never Want to Leave:Join a dynamic team where your contributions are valued and recognized.Work in a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and development.Enjoy a balance between challenging work and a vibrant coastal lifestyle.This Job Isn't For You If:You prefer working in a rigid, unchanging environment.You lack experience in accounting and finance (5+ years required).You don't have excellent verbal and written communication skills.This Job Is For You If:You're a highly motivated individual with a CPA or equivalent experience.You have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.You're experienced with financial statement preparation for various legal entities.You have a knack for managing general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.You're proficient in accounting software, especially QuickBooks Online.Ready to make a splash in your career?
