Immediate startOpportunity to turn permanentAbout Our ClientOur client is a highly regarded catering organisation seeking to enhance their accounts and payroll function by hiring a 3-month contractor, with the possibility of a permanent position.Job DescriptionReporting to the Finance Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role include:Generate, analyse, and process pay runs, superannuation payments, payroll taxes, and EOFY tasks on time.Ensure compliance with contracts, laws, and pay practices by communicating with managers to clarify information.Maintain payroll system including access and locations.Review accuracy of data and calculations in the system.Provide support to managers for payroll-related queries (e.g., over/under payments, superannuation).Monitor supplier invoices in automation software.Perform necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy of invoice details and coding.Run and review payment reports before releasing payments.Maintain healthy supplier relationships and ensure service delivery to the business.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate should have a background in working within an accounts and payroll team, along with the following key traits:Experience in a similar role and industry.Proficiency with Business central and Employment Hero.Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.What's on OfferThe successful candidate will enjoy the following opportunities:Being part of a positive working environmentCompetitive hourly rateTemporary-to-permanent employment opportunityMichael Page
