Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated ICI Superintendent in the Newmarket, Ontario area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects, particularly those involving food processing facilities, freezers, and chillers. As an ICI Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from start to finish.Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion.Monitor and control project costs, providing regular updates to stakeholders.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing as planned.Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.Prepare and present regular progress reports.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation.
