You could benefit under the NSW Health Rural Workforce Incentive Scheme!Remuneration: $35.33 - $49.60 per hour + 11.5% Super + IncentivesEmployment Type: Permanent and Temporary Part TimePosition Classification: Registered NurseLocation: Manning Hospital and Forster Community Health ServiceHours Per Week: up to 32Requisition ID: REQ506339Applications Close: Thursday, 8th August 2024About the role:We have two positions available:1 x Permanent Part-Time (16 hours per week)1 x Temporary Part-Time until June 2025 (32 hours per week)The position requires the successful RN to provide care to patients in the community following a hospital stay by providing an efficient and effective Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) Service including timely response to accepting referrals for intake assessments in the hospital, case management, assisting the patient to regain functionality & mobility and finalise ongoing care arrangements.Where you'll be working:These positions with the Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) will be located at Taree Aged Care and will be part of dedicated multidisciplinary team which includes RNs, ENs, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and a Domestic Service based both in Taree and Forster.The Transitional Aged Care team form part of the overarching Aged Care Services which consists of ACAT, Psychogeriatric/Dementia service, Podiatrists, ASET, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Discharge Planning & AARCS.About you:The successful applicant will be a motivated Registered Nurse who can take initiative when needed whilst out in the community. You will provide support and leadership to your fellow RN’s, EEN’s and Allied Health professionals in your team, in both Forster and Taree. You will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, have the ability to consult with a multi-disciplinary team and be able to work effectively to deliver a professional service to the community.Requirements:Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.Unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence with the ability and willingness to visit clients in their home across the Lower Mid North Coast of NSW.Benefits:Four weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time employees)Superannuation contributions 11.5%- Up to $9k for living expenses + $2.6k meal & entertainment + Novated leasing. * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for staff and family membersMidCoast Community Connector:Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme:This vacancy may be eligible for an Attraction and Relocation package that includes the following*:Attraction incentive paid as a Rural and Regional fortnightly allowance of up to $10,000 for the first 12-monthsRetention incentive of up to $5,000 thereafter annuallyPLUS 3 months accommodation assistance (e.g. reimbursement of rent payments or payments for commercial accommodation)*All payments and reimbursements made to part time employees will be on a pro-rata basis.Attraction incentives will be paid as a Rural and Regional fortnightly allowance on top of your base salary + 11.5% superannuation.Other forms of payment/package options (where you are eligible) need to be negotiated with the Convenor and may include**:Additional annual professional development days (up to 5 more per year)Additional personal leave (up to 5 more days per year)Computer/internet reimbursement (e.g. laptop, wi-fi costs)Return airfare to and from your work base (or equivalent motor vehicle allowance) so you can still visit family and friends**The total value of your incentive package would remain the same. Employees are responsible for seeking independent financial advice before accepting an Attraction and Retention Incentive package as part of their offer.Transferring of incentive packages will depend on the location, position, and time served by the health worker in their current position. Eligibility to transfer existing incentive packages will be determined and approved by the health organisation.
