With over 1500 stores in all 10 provinces, you may know us as Sobeys, Safeway, IGA, Foodland, FreshCo, Thrifty Foods, Lawtons Drug Stores or another of our great banners but we are all one extended family.All career opportunities will be open a minimum of 5 business days from the date of posting.Here’s where you’ll be focusing:Work constructively with Project Teams to provide SME and guidance on master data, merchandising and replenishment.Participate in project meetings for data migration.Build knowledge on Sobeys Master data within these area’s – store, merchandising and replenishment.Provide and review project decision impacts and recommendations with Manager and Tower Leads.Provide detailed knowledge of master data to project team.Provide analysis to our current master data and Identify areas for cleansing and harmonization. · Create reporting to support the analysis; testing of the reportingCoordinate data cleansing activities with the business.Validate cleansing has been completed.Build a strong relationship with project team.Provide updates with project team, and manager as required.Ensure on-time delivery of accountabilities within a project.Provide data support to technical team. · Review data deliverables within project to ensure accuracy and completeness.Create scripts for validations of data load to support.Partner with the project team mates to complete pre load and post load validations of the data.Contribute to the project planning process.Participate in project process reviews and requirements gathering to ensure master data impacts are captured Lead data assignmentsAttend project meetingsPartner with Merchandising and Replenishment to support in the testing and implementation of new processes effecting data, or which data impacts.Perform, analyze and provide project analysis and support to the entire project team.What you have to offer:Experience with retail master dataMerchandising or retail store and/or wholesale experienceTroubleshooting experience · Experience with continuous or process improvementKnowledge of SAP and/or experience with retail dataMust be able to escalate issues to managers when requiredMust be able to effectively articulate data teams position within projectAt Sobeys we require our teammates to have the ability to adhere to a hybrid work model that requires your presence at one of our office locations at least three days per week.
