The Technologist will report to the Supervisor and adhere to respective policies, procedures and standards in accordance with Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH).QUALIFICATIONSTo Succeed in This Role, You Will Need the Following:Current membership in College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) as a Medical Radiation TechnologistExperience with PACS systems and an ability to assume a super-user role in PACS ApplicationsExperience with CT systems and an ability to assume a super-user role in CT ApplicationsFormal education and experience in a CT environment, including CT operation and venepuncture.Demonstrated commitment to professional practice and self-developmentDemonstrated understanding of and participation in quality improvement initiatives.Previous experience with and demonstrated evidence of organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work independently.Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance historyAbility to demonstrate sensitivity towards patients in a challenging situationDemonstrated good judgement to ensure work is always performed in the best interest and safety of the patient and the teamPREFERRED SKILLSMeditech experiencePhilips PACS experienceP.R. certificationASSETSBilingual - English and FrenchBone Mineral Densitometry experienceHEALTH, SAFETY & WELLNESSJoin us in a culture where your well-being is a top priority.
