Job DescriptionWe are looking for our client, an international company working on large-scale construction projects located in Luxembourg city, an experienced Mechanical Engineer in construction.Responsibilities and duties :Prepare project specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) according to specifications and Project Quality Assurance and Control System for Mechanical WorksReview and approve the project QC plans, instructions, procedures for Mechanical WorksManage inspections, tests and work according to ITPs for Mechanical WorksCoordinate and supervise the subcontractors, in order to ensure documents and work compliance with the contracts and quality, and project structural integrity with construction team.Advise the staff to implement product quality, issue reports on quality problems and issue / follow-up non-compliance with standards or regulatory requirements.Follow up Calibration Log for Inspection and Testing Equipment for Mechanical WorksLogging, scanning, and maintaining records and documents, pertinent to QA/QC activities.Requirements :B.Sc./BA in engineering, building science or relevant fieldThe position holder must have knowledge of Quality Inspections and TestingProven experience of delivering projects of similar nature, or having completed at least one project from start to finishIn-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles.Familiarity with HSE and quality standardsGood knowledge of MS OfficeFluency in English and FrenchThe position is a permanent contract located in Luxembourg.Jobs.lu
