Short DescriptionCare Aide - RockinghamAttractive salary packaging options - up to $18,550 tax freeFriendly, supportive working environmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesThe opportunityWe have an immediate opportunity for experienced and passionate community support workers to join Silver Chain Group in the position of Care Aide on a permanent part time basis.We are seeking applicants with availability to work Mon to Fri for a 30 hour week between the hours of 8am - 4pm. . Applicants will need to demonstrate flexibility and commitment to shifts on offer to ensure continuity of services to our clients. This position is based at our Fremantle Social Centre. You will be required to drive our clients in our Silverchain bus. Some light cooking and meal prep for our clients, is also part of this role.Key ResponsibilitiesOur Care Aides deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging their ability to participate in their own care to maintain their independence. Responsibilities can include skin care, toileting, general hygiene, grooming, dressing, fitting and removal of pressure stockings, mobility, fluid intake, feeding, meal preparation, respite and assisting with medication.
