An exciting opportunity is currently available for experienced Registrars or Principal House Officers to join the Department of Emergency Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. Specific duties will vary dependent upon the clinical specialty and some will be negotiated with the relevant consultant, the Department of Emergency Medicine and the individual. Each position is supervised by senior medical staff, although a reasonable degree of autonomy is expected. All Registrars and PHO's should provide leadership to junior residents working in the same clinical unit.Several Temporary Full Time Positions (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension.Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB).
