What will be your daily pursuit?To deliver an exceptional hospitality experience, warmly welcoming and engaging with our guests in the promotion, sale and fulfillment of our food and beverage offerings that fuel our guests and staff for adventure!This fun summer job starts immediately and runs until October 2024!CompensationThe starting wage for this position is $17.00 / hourWhat perks can you expect?Work in a dynamic, culturally diverse team from around the globeWork experience in an iconic, unforgettable, and inspiring locationFree access to Pursuit attractions for staff and family, send a friend at half the price!Discounted hotel stays under Pursuit’s lodging offerings, and discounted food & beverage and retail experiencesThe chance to work in an inclusive culture and make life-long friendsAccess to subsidized mental health and wellness resourcesOpportunities for career growth or future work at other Pursuit locationsAccess to one of the world’s most beautiful and iconic National ParksWhat will you do in this job?This is a multi-faceted position working in three different restaurants, The Lakehouse Café, The View and The Waffle Hut, and can include any, or all, of the following:Provide a warm and welcoming experience by actively greeting and engaging with all guests as they enter the food and beverage locations and food service countersWork a variety of shifts that may include, cashier, food running, food service, bussing tables, restocking, basic bartending, barista and assembling wafflesOperate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, the responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out formsProviding guests information on the local areaMaintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual eventsProvide guests with exceptional service at all timesStocking and maintaining product levelsEnsuring correct cash and float security during operating hoursCommunicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashionUphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employeesMaintenance and cleanliness of service areas and dining areas.Assist in preparation of productsOther duties as assignedWhat skills and experience do you need for this job?Positive attitude and good communication skillsPrevious Food and Beverage experience preferred but not requiredCash handling experienceThrives in a fast paced, high energy work environmentComfortable lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.Must be enthusiastic about hospitality, and providing warm engaging service to high volumes of guestsHandling stress in the most professional mannerMature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated;Second language an assetPro-Serve qualificationsComfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
