Job description: Prosperity Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Building Services Coordinator to join our client. The Building Services Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects building maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:Performs / contracts preventative maintenance work and identifies routine repairs to electrical, plumbing, structural, mechanical and security systems.Maintains maintenance records and administers maintenance requisition system.Prioritizes work, secures qualified trades and service contractors, and oversees completion of assignments.Codes and submits all invoices to accounts payable and verifies packing slips.Follows approved procedures in issuing and canceling security access. Provides building access for contractors and ensures effective liaison with the Leadership team to minimize resident disruption and equipment downtime.Administers operation of heating and cooling units, troubleshoots problems, ensures seasonal service to evaporative cooling units, belts and motors, lubricates bearings and monitors operation of air handling units.Performs minor repairs to buildings, fixtures and equipment to help troubleshoot problems, replacing bulbs and supervises onsite projects with contractors; Performs / arranges plumbing repairs including leaks, unplugging toilets, drains and fixtures, replacing valves and installing replacement fixtures including sinks, toilets and minor commercial equipment.Troubleshoots plumbing problems and coordinates the scheduling of warranty service calls.Maintains and updates the building services manual for, fire safety and emergency preparedness plan in conjunction with the Executive Director, MSDS and an accurate inventory of furnishings, equipment, tools and materials.Performs interior and exterior painting including repair, painting, ensuring weatherproofing of all doors and windows, wtc.Qualifications:High school graduationA post secondary trades certification in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other building trades certification would be an asset.Good interpersonal communication skillsHigh computer literacy with MS office software and a functional familiarity with building maintenance and monitoring softwarePhysical stamina to sustain bending, lifting, and climbingExcellent communication skills and English proficiency.Job Type: Part-timePay: $25.00-$31.00 per hourExpected hours: 24 per weekBenefits:Dental careLife insurancePaid time offVision careProsperity Workforce Solutions
