You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely, depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks.Senior Programme Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.About the teamWorkplace Health and Safety (WHS) plays a crucial role in keeping our people mentally and physically well at work. Our team works with managers, associates and local governments across our sites, making sure we’re complying with Amazon’s policies and legal regulations, and that our workplaces are safe.There is a range of opportunities within the team, from Health and Safety Technicians to Programme Managers. No matter what your role is, you’ll play a part in developing, implementing and upholding our high safety and wellbeing standards. You could work on a variety of projects alongside colleagues from across the business, ranging from equipment and process inspections to assessing processes, building and equipment design.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience in program or project managementExperience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsExperience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipBachelor’s degree, preferably in a Health&Safety or Learning related fieldAdvanced proficiency in verbal and written EnglishStrong public speaking proficiencyRelevant experience in a Learning and Development, training, education or facilitation rolePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related fieldLean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Prince2 certifications, or any other project management certificationRelevant experience working in a supply chain, logistics, or operations environmentExperience in conceptualising and implementing operational or supply-chain management improvementsProficiency in verbal and written German and/or FrenchAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
