$83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% SuperannuationNowra Hill - NSWThe RoleWith the increased Fleet Air Arm presence at sea necessitating seamless connectivity between flights at sea and their Squadrons on shore at HMAS Albatross, there could not be a more exciting time to delve into the world of Information Technology and Management within the Fleet Air Arm.The Head Quarters Fleet Air Arm Information and Technology Support Officer is a pivotal role to the management, flow, recording, recall, transfer and reporting of all Fleet Air Arm Information and Information Technology. The role provides both hardware and software support to the Head Quarters. The successful applicant will be able to work with both Civilian and Military personnel of all levels and ranks. They will have a can do attitude, superior communication skills, able to adapt their language to their audience. Experience in Objective or a similar records management system is highly desirable.About our TeamThe HQFAA Information Management division is an integral and critical workforce within the Fleet Air Arm Business Management Unit (BMU). The BMU is a small but very dynamic, resourceful and high performing team, delivering and ensuring all business requirements to an expected level of professionalism to the FAA Force Commander (COMFAA).COMFAA is responsible to the Navy Fleet Commander for providing operationally ready and airworthy Navy aircraft through the command and management of the Navy Aviation capability and the development, oversight and regulation of Airworthiness in accordance with Defence Aviation Safety Regulations.HQFAA provide overarching business management of the subordinate shore based Squadrons/Units and the multiple Ship’s Flights on-board Royal Australian Navy Ships. The ideal candidate will have:The ability to look for ways to streamline processes;Be adaptable and accepting of change;SharePoint and Information and Records management skills.
