Wright Traffic Control is signatory to local Labor Unions. A Traffic Control Flagger must be reliable, safety-oriented and is able to travel to and from job sites as assigned. Our team is ATSSA Certified to provide our clients with the highest quality of trained traffic controllers. Traffic Controllers must sign with Local Laborers Union and are responsible for any sign on fees and dues.Description:Setting up temporary work zones including advanced warning signs and traffic cones to maintain during an active job site and then removed according to ATSSA and DOT regulations.Communicate with other flaggers using handheld radios.Inform construction crew of any traffic issues that may affect their safety.Loading and unloading equipment from the company vehicleComplete and submit all required timekeeping / paperwork on time.All other job duties as assigned.Requirements:Valid driver's license is required to be hired and throughout employmentMust have smartphone with internet access for timekeeping and communication to receive work assignments * Must have reliable transportationHave and maintain a safe driving record throughout employmentMust be able to travel to and from job siteMust be able to pass a drug screen prior to and randomly throughout employmentThe ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be physically capable of pushing/pulling all needed equipment from work vehicles and/or jobsites in order to perform all duties as assigned.Excellent verbal communication skills, a must for safetyFlaggers must be able to safely work in all weather.Flaggers will be required to stand for long periods of time while using hand/arm movements and limited breaks.Wright traffic Control Inc (WTC)
