You will play a pivotal role in both providing expert HR advisory services and working on strategic projects related to the implementation of a new people strategy across the entire employee lifecycle. Additionally, you will support the development and execution of reward and recognition strategies. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in HR, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to drive change.RequirementsWhat You’ll DoHR Advisory:· Provide expert HR advice and guidance to leadership, managers, and employees on a wide range of HR topics, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and compliance.· Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and objectives, offering solutions that align with the organization's goals.· Deliver learning and development to the business with support from the People Director and external partners.Projects and Change:· With support from the People Director and taking an agile approach led by KPIs, guide the development, planning, and execution of the people strategy, encompassing the entire employee lifecycle.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of the people strategy, fostering a culture of engagement.· Develop communication plans to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, changes, and benefits.· Provide training and support to managers and employees to ensure a smooth transition to new processes and practices.Reward and Recognition:· Support the implementation of reward and recognition strategies and frameworks.· Manage the annual pay and bonus review process, ensuring all data is produced accurately and to timeframes.· Create models and build insights to enable the business to understand and optimize total reward.· Manipulate reward data, including internal and external benchmarking, to provide insights and trends, using this as a basis to provide alternative scenarios and models based on business requirements.· Respond to individual benchmarking requests with timely and accurate data.· Undertake the submission of reward survey data for salary surveys, ensuring that the process is completed accurately.· Produce ad hoc and bespoke reports and prepare standard reports for management meetings.Analytics and Reporting:· Develop and use HR metrics and data analysis to track the effectiveness of the people strategy and its impact on key performance indicators.· Prepare reports for the People Director, highlighting project milestones, accomplishments, and areas for improvement.· Prepare data for monthly board reporting and HR People Metrics.About You· Experience working in a tech, professional services, or similar business which embraces the use of technology to enhance productivity.· Experience delivering learning to colleagues and leaders.· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a bonus.· A minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience.· In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making.· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.· Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.· Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD L5/7).· Experience in reward management, including compensation, benefits, and recognition strategies.· Strong proficiency in data analysis and the ability to manipulate data sets for insights and reporting.BenefitsWorking from our brand new Sheffield Office with hybrid working availableOpportunity to work at an established but rapidly growing EdTech scaleupNEST Pensions schemeBuy & Sell Holiday scheme offering an opportunity to boost holiday allowance to up to 38 days annually (+Bank Holidays)Access to company Life Assurance schemeSmartHealth - access to 24/7 virtual GP, mental health & wellbeing support, financial advice and moreEnhanced Family Friendly benefitsThe National College
