Sessional Lecturers, Dept Finance & Management ScienceThe Department of Finance and Management Science in the Edwards School of Business invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following courses during the following session:2024-25 Regular SessionCourse Number, Section, and Name: COMM 203 (02/04) Introduction to FinanceTerm and Course Dates: Winter Session, Term 2 (January 1, 2025 - April 30, 2025)CRN: 21015, 21016Delivery Mode: This course will be taught as a lectureCourse Schedule: Two sections as follows:Mondays and Wednesdays; 8:30am - 9:50amMondays and Wednesdays; 10:00am - 11:20amExpected Enrollment Limit: 60 per sectionLocation: SaskatoonQualifications: Consistent with its goal of achieving business school accreditation, Edwards will recruit those individuals with initial academic preparation (including a graduate degree), professional experience and ongoing professional engagement deemed sufficiently strong for granting the candidate Instructional Practitioner status. Professional experience must be current and substantial in terms of duration and level of responsibility, and clearly linked to the field in which the candidate is expected to teach. Professional engagement activities must be substantive and sustained at levels that support currency and relevance for Edwards' mission.Appointment periods for the session include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required.A valid driver's license is required for any off campus courses.
