Job DescriptionThe Risk Management Department is responsible for the risk control function of the Bank, covering both Financial Risk and Operational Risk matters.The Risk Management Department monitors existing and emerging risks, assess them and report them to the senior management of the Bank. It supports the business in managing their risks, providing guidance to promote risk awareness continuously.Within the Operational Risk Management function, we are looking for a Senior Operational Risk Officer on a permanent contract.Your main tasks will be to:Participate in the development and implementation of the Operational Risk Management FrameworkPerform detailed analysis of operational risk incidents and the underlying root causes (including the setup of meetings with business lines and drafting memo events), review the proposed action plans and follow up on the progress/completion. Maintain the Operational Risk event databaseSupport the risk and control assessment process of the risk owners, challenge the proposed assessment and regularly report on the status of the riskReview the status of key risk indicators and the level of risk for the respective areas.Support the preparation of regular risk reports to the management and specialized committeesSupport for the preparation of ICAAP report including incorporation of the implemented scenario analysis results.Support responses for inquiries from the group, audit, management or other stakeholdersParticipation in specific projects.Job requirements:Studies in Finance/Economics, IT or other technical subjectsSolid experience in Operational Risk and/or Custody Operations. Knowledge of IT and Information Security will be consider a plusGood analysis and reporting skillsKnowledge and awareness of regulatory requirementsGood knowledge Funds and Banking industry, including regulations, as well as risk monitoring market practicesGood command of MS Office applicationsFluent in English, written and spokenExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTeam spirit, stress resilience and analytical as well as problem-solving skills with strong attention to details.“Please be aware that in accordance with the law of July 23, 2016, the selected candidate will be requested to provide a criminal record (section 3)”Jobs.lu
