Our facility offers a multi-purpose events centre, multiple food & beverage outlets, 24/7 fitness centre, kids club, gaming facilities and free weekly entertainment, plus a 120 room Mantra at Sharks hotel.Well known for our friendly atmosphere, working at Southport Sharks is far more than just a job... you will make lifetime friends with the ‘Sharks Crew!’About the Role …We are currently accepting applications for experienced Cafe All-Rounders who have bright, outgoing personalities and exceptional customer service skills to fill positions within our very popular Cafe.The successful candidate must have full availability.Key responsibilities include:Delivering a high standard of service to members and guestsClearing tables and loading dishwasher with dirty crockeryPreparing hot and cold beverages, including various styles of coffees, milkshakes, cold-pressed juices, etc (Barista experience preferred)Preparing and cooking food, including sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, plating desserts, etc (basic cooking experience preferred)Handling all cash transactions in an efficient manner, ensuring the security of cash and the privacy of member details at all timesMaintaining a clean and tidy environmentWorking with a team who have a strong Workplace, Health and Safety focus.About you…To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:Essential skills and competencies:Must have strong barista skills and work in fast paced cafeExcellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work as a teamA keen eye for detailHigh level of grooming and personal presentation standardsReliability and the flexibility to work a variety of shiftsExperience and Qualifications:Barista skills and experienceA minimum of 1-2 years of food and beverage experienceIf you meet the above criteria and you’re interested in contributing to an organisation that values the highest level of quality in everything it sets out to achieve, we want to hear from you!APPLY NOW!!No recruitment agencies, please.Southport Sharks
