The Hospital is a teaching hospital of the UNSW and University of Notre Dame and has academic associations with the Australian Catholic University, Sydney University and the University of Technology, Sydney.What you'll be doingResponsibilities of this position are to assist the Heart Failure / Transplant Cardiologist in the pre and post-Transplant assessment and care of patients with severe heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, advanced heart disease, temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation.The preferred candidate for the Fellowship will have completed Cardiology Advanced Training and have experience in diagnostic cardiac catheterisation, echocardiography, intra-aortic balloon pump insertion, right heart catheterisation and some experience in endomyocardial biopsy.MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of AustraliaSuccessful completion of Part 1 FRACP Examinations.
