Join the passionate team at Workways delivering employment services across Australia!Job DescriptionHuman Resources OfficerThe Human Resources Officer supports the HR function in the delivery and administration of all generalist HR activities. This includes the provision of a timely, customer-focused HR service, which supports the organisations overall strategic aims and ensuring the ability to attract, retain develop and support an engaged and productive workforce.Who are we?Workways Australia - we get people connected. Workways is a community focused organisation committed to making a positive social and economic difference for those living and working in our communities.About the role:Location: Based in Gippsland, Victoria or Brisbane, Queensland - Hybrid options available.Contract Type: Permanent Full TimeAs an HR officer you will facilitate the end-to-end recruitment activities such as advertising of positions, liaising with candidates, generating contracts and tracking onboarding documentation. You will also be responsible for ensuring relevant employments checks are performed, records are maintained, assisting the learning and development team, payroll backup and supporting the rehabilitation and return to work function.To be successful in this role you will possess:Ability to work as a team member within the ethos and values of Workways AustraliaKnowledge with interpretation and application of relevant legislation governing employment, human resources and industrial relations, including Fair Work Act, WHS framework, Employment awards and the NES.Strong administrative background and attention to deal.Key skills and experience:If you think you this position is for you, please provide answers to the Key Selection Criteria listed below when submitting your application:Experience in a similar human resources role and/or relevant qualification,Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, PowerBi highly desirable and knowledge of HRIS systems, ELMO and/or tech1 favourable.Knowledge of return-to-work processed and understanding of work health and safety desired.What we will offer you:Attractive base salary, enhanced by salary packaging benefits increasing your take home pay up to $15,900 per yearMonthly paid Accrued Days Off (ADO)- Available for Full time employeesEmployee Assistance program including individual coaching and access for immediate family membersAbility to obtain discounted private health insuranceAccess to discounts for everyday shopping purchasesA supportive team environment committed to making a difference in the communities we live and work in.Ongoing development opportunities, individual training budget and career growthHow to apply:To apply for this position, please attach your current resume and a cover letter that addresses the key Selection Criteria listed above.
