Due to a new project award; NRW Civil and Mining have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team at our newest civil project. The successful candidate will have an extensive background working within the civil industry and will assist with delivering the project to a successful completion.To be considered for this position as a QA Engineer, you must possess the following as a minimum:Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in EngineeringRelevant audit qualifications e.g., lead auditor/ quality auditor/ internal auditorDocument control experienceKnowledge of using bespoke QA/doc control systems such as TeamBinder or CitrixExperience with implementation of corrective and improvement action programsExperience with Earthworks within the Civil industryExperience with Microsoft SharePointAdvanced knowledge with Microsoft Excel and MS office suiteAs a QA Engineer reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:Planning and conducting internal quality auditsPreparing detailed audit reports and identify corrective actions and process improvementsRaising and tracking profess of audit actionsAssisting in the auditing or participation in audits of high-risk subcontractor/suppliers as directedSupporting the project teams as required in relation to quality and in particular assist in the timely submission of the MDRCoordinating all activities and tasks related to document control and company archivingOverseeing the subcontractor prequalification processMaintaining registers as requiredFiling and registering of commercial contract/agreement documentationEnsuring and maintaining accuracy of data on the NRW IntranetFormatting of documents and spreadsheets in line with NRW corporate and document style guidesWriting of NRW system policies, procedures and forms as requiredDeveloping excel spreadsheets as requiredSupporting the Quality team in maintaining third party quality accreditationsSupporting the Quality team in maintaining NRW’s quality management systemAbout the Opportunity:2/1 roster on offerExcellent salary, conditions and benefitsLong term employment prospectsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) available for yourself and your immediate familyIncome Protection InsuranceRange of corporate discounts including private health insurance, membership options and retail discountsExtensive salary sacrifice options including novated vehicle leasingPaid Parental LeaveNRW is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we strongly support diversity in our workforce.
