Job Description:Role: Management Accountant - Part QualifiedLocation: LondonSalary: £40-45k + study support & benefitsThis is a well established and international trade and logistics business based in London. They specialise primarily with metal commodities and have a strong presence across several countries.Due to some recent restructuring, they are now looking to hire an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team.RoleThe Management Accountant for this international logistics distribution and supply chain business, will work closely with the Finance Manager in handling day-to-day activities. They will take on a range of bookkeeping responsibilities including:Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports.Ensure that accounting entries completed timely & accurately.Assist with project reporting and project accounting entries.Performing balance sheet reconciliations.Assisting with preparation of monthly management account packs.Support on VAT for UK calculations.Perform variance analysis.Support preparation for audit processes.ProfileThe ideal profile for this Management Accountant position, should have the following attributes:3+ years of experience within a similar Management Accounting capacityStrong experience in supporting month-end procedures e.g. journal posting etc.Experience with QuickBooks would be advantageous.Good experience with ExcelStrong communication skills, both written & verbal.Salary & Benefits£40,000 to £45,000 plus benefits including:Study support packageDiscretionary bonusHybrid working - 3 days in office20 days holiday + bank holidaysStandard pensionMedical insuranceThe salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
