As part of a team renowned for its expertise, you will participate in the design, assessment and monitoring of structures for institutional, residential and commercial projects of various scales. Drawing on your technical knowledge, you will design innovative solutions tailored to the needs of our clients. You will be able to progress rapidly in an environment where responsibility, autonomy and trust are strongly encouraged, and will participate in projects that are shaping Québec, such as the Roberval Courthouse, the Strom Spa in Old Québec, Club Med Québec in Charlevoix, the Maison des aînés in Rivière-du-Loup and the Villa Frederick-James in Percé.Our hybrid work model allows you to telecommute, work from one of our offices in Québec City, Lévis, Saguenay, Rimouski or Rivière-du-Loup, or a combination of both.Primary ResponsibilitiesParticipate in all stages of building projects (assessments, field surveys, inspections, technical reports, drawings and specifications, construction supervision).Participate in the design of structural elements for various steel, concrete, wood or masonry structures.Perform calculations using specialized software.Contribute to the preparation of structural drawings and specifications.Prepare quantity and cost estimates.Participate in coordination with architects, professionals, contractors and clients.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an equivalent, with a major in structural engineering.Title of engineer registered with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).Three to five years’ relevant experience in residential, commercial, industrial and institutional building structures.Knowledge of standards and codes governing building structures in Québec.Proficiency in ETABS, ADA, SAFE and Microsoft Office 365.ASP Construction card.Knowledge of Revit software (an asset).Fluency in spoken and written French.Contact#LI-HybridAdditional InformationEthics and integrity are fundamental values at CIMA+.
