Your drive, desire, and passion to innovate and find new ways to do this are what the role is really about.You will work closely with the technology team and finance teams to make sure accounts are paid on time and to budgetYou will provide clear reporting via simple concise dashboardsYou are always looking for cost savings opportunitiesStrong stakeholder engagement is essential, as this role is likely to present to SLT levelOversee costs, establish financial service reporting, ensuring associated processes can/are operating within expected thresholdsTracking IT spend and ensure any uplift or reductions in OPEX is tracked and recordedEnsuring strong governance, contract management and procurement processes are operatedBuild a single source of truth for technology contracts, quotes and renewalsWork closely with the technology team to manage digital services, both contractually and financiallyWhere appropriate, you will lead or be a key player in the contract negotiation process for IT, including strategy, RFP process, value identification and performance against the agreed contract post signing, holding vendors to account where requiredQualificationsAt a minimum, what experience and skills do you need to be successful in this role?5+ years in a similar roleAdvanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilitiesHave a strong desire to work within a technology functionYou have worked in high growth businesses, with high volumes of data & information and ever-changing needsYou can recognise trends and identify conflicting / incorrect data and communicate this clearly and effectivelyExceptional attention-to-detailAbility to manage vendor meetings and drive outcomesA passion to identify new and improved ways to provide information clearly to all levelsSome people management capability, as it is likely that this role may have one direct reportAdditional InformationThis role is based in MelbourneYou are welcome here.Our fast-growing team of more than 3,500 people around Australia represent a huge array of life experiences, skills and ways of thinking.
