The right candidate will be goal driven, self-motivated, able to work independently and methodically.Job dutiesCollecting, transporting, sorting, washing, drying and folding of hotel linens.Distributing and stocking linen closets and supply areas.Inventory control of all linens, cleaning supplies and equipment.Performs minor sewing duties/repairs as requiredTrack and report required equipment maintenanceMaintains an up-to-date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products, and the correct handling procedures.Reports any maintenance and/ or health and safety issues.Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.Job Qualifications/RequirementNo education or experience required; we offer full trainingAbility to follow instructionGood communication skills are an assetWorkplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is an assetAble to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally alwaysProfessional appearance and good mannersAbout the Sutton Place HotelThe Sutton Place Hotel at Revelstoke Mountain Resort is a luxury 4-star hotel, located directly opposite the gondola and activities that provide experiences of a lifetime for our guests.The Sutton Place Hotel and Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) are a division of Canada's largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for endless outdoor adventure, big mountain riding and an authentic Canadian resort town.
