This includes structure, TT&C subsystems, electronics, Radio Frequency, power supply, AOCS, simulators, on- board software, GSEs and all major elements of satellitesSatellite services and applications with a focus on Automatic Identification System (AIS) and Earth Observation (EO)Our OHB LuxSpace Team is composed of highly skilled and motivated professionals having joined us from more than 20 countries.LuxSpace offers a dynamic and challenging, multinational, open minded and innovative work environment with a cooperative management culture and flexible working time options.Job DescriptionIn today’s challenging and dynamic small satellites market, the incumbent’s objective shall be to accelerate the growth of LuxSpace’s market share and revenue as a provider of professional and smart solutions for space missions and space-based services and applications.Such products and solutions shall be largely based on LuxSpace’s small satellite product line designed to support a broad range of applications in the domains of Earth Observation, Communications, Situational Awareness, Technology Demonstration. The incumbent will develop and capture opportunities integrating the small satellites product line with the Application and Services product line.The role will be reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing.Typical Tasks and Key Results expected include:Identifying business opportunities in accordance with LuxSpace’s strategic goalsBuilding and maintaining key customer relationshipsMaintaining extensive knowledge of the market and forecasting its evolutionGrow LuxSpace annual revenues and backlogStructuring, preparing and delivering proposals for small / microsatellite platforms, as well as for integrated small / microsatellites and application and servicesHarmonizing the team of contributors to a bid, ensuring a commercially oriented focus of the proposalNegotiate and close deals based on the proposals deliveredOther tasks and duties assigned by manager(s)Temporarily or permanently performing other reasonable and equivalent dutiesDue to the nature of the role, the position owner will work and interact collaboratively across the company for the pursuit of growth in sales and revenues.QualificationsIdeal Candidate Profile:Degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Engineering, ideally in the Space domain, or equivalentRelevant working experience in a sales environment in the space or related industryAcademic background in business administration / sales being an assetVery good knowledge of the space market and value chain, inparticular in the domain of satellitesVery good knowledge of the applications and services part of the space market and its value chainProven knowledge and working results with institutional and governmental clients, such as LSA, ESA, EU, NATO and othersExcellent working experience in proposal managementCommercially driven mindset with focus on results and achievementsStrong ability to communicate adequately, effectively and to drive resultsPositive spirit to work and interface with a multinational teamMethodical and structured hands-on work approachTaking responsibility and being proactiveReadiness to travel for business if neededWillingness to work flexible in line with proposal / project needs and schedulesExcellent English skills (spoken and written), other languages, e. g.
