Job SummaryUnder general supervision and reporting to the Operations Manager, The Delivery Assurance Specialist serves as a vital link between the Prime Aerospace customers and their supplier base to improve delivery performance by tracking, validating, expediting, and reporting real time part delivery status. Incumbents must have solid manufacturing experience with focus on root cause analysis and effective interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Essential functions are the basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.Manage open order report or customer report(s) by analyzing supplier delivery status and commitments, identifying risks and opportunities, developing mitigation plans for driving continuous improvement to meet customer requirementsTrack and proactively communicate via Critical Status Updates the flow of critical/priority parts through the suppliers manufacturing from the receipt of PO, raw material phase, through manufacturing, outside process/sub tier, quality, shipping, and delivery to the customerCommunicate daily/weekly status updates via Trigo ADR/Customer systems and /or reportsOnsite support at supplier sites to proactively support on-time delivery through milestone validation and leveraging of Trigo ADR toolsPrepare presentations and lead meetings with customers and suppliers as neededEstablish and maintain customer and supplier relationships with key stakeholdersEscalate observations or concerns to Trigo ADR ManagementIdentify opportunities for additional Trigo ADR services and/or support to suppliers and customersEnsure the timely submittal of all required internal/external deliverablesPerforms other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Knowledge of:Experience working on process improvement teams or possess Six Sigma certification (preferred)Skills:Fluent English – reading and writing is requiredProficient with Microsoft Office Products (2010 Excel intermediate skills required)Professionalism, integrity, and exceptional attention to detailStrong independent decision-making skills; excellent analytical skills and professional judgmentExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to:Ensure the accuracy of data and informationUnderstand, interpret, apply, and explain applicable policies and proceduresPrioritize and escalate matters to supervisor as appropriateMaintain confidentiality of company documents and recordsExercise discretion in handling sensitive informationEstablish and maintain effective working relationshipsPass pre-hire background check and drug screeningSupervision Received:The work is performed under general supervisionEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEManufacturing Experience – 5-10 years, preferably in Machine Shop/ Sheet MetalBachelor’s degree (or higher) in supply chain management, engineering, business, quality assurance or related field (preferred qualification)Experience working on process improvement teams or possess Six Sigma certification (preferred)Any combination of education and experience may be considered.LICENSES, CERTIFICATES & OTHER REQUIREMENTSReliable transportation - must have current/active drivers' license and valid auto insuranceUS Citizenship requiredBENEFITS:12 days paid vacation first year, increasing with service years10 days paid sick time11 paid holidaysHealthcare insurance available: Medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, critical illness, life insurance for self and dependents401k with matchPay Range$60,000-$90,000, please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Trigo ADR considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.WORKING CONDITIONSProductivity: Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction.Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time.Vision: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others.Environment: Typical office conditions, directly working Quality management team, working with the SMS team, and external customers.Other Factors: Typical hours worked are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime.The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk (approximately 1-2 miles a day); sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
