Our growing Mississauga client who is a leader in the Packaging industry is looking for a Millwright to join their team. You must be a licensed Millwright 433A. You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing facility.Job Title: Maintenance Millwright (Millwright License 433A required)Location: Mississauga, ONPay Range: $43 per hourThe Maintenance Millwright is responsible for the post-installation maintenance/repair of plant machinery and production equipment, installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls, together with all other activities as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. The following are the responsibilities:What's the Job?Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresInstall, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power toolsOperate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machineryInspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctionsInstall, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controlsPerform preventative maintenance, adjust machinery and repair / replace defective partsOperate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machineryClean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machineryConstruct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundationsAssemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipmentMaintains, repairs, tests and installs electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systemsTroubleshoots, maintains and repairs industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.Conducts preventive maintenance programs and keeps accurate maintenance recordsMay install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices as requiredFacilitate Lock-Out / Tag-Out procedures.What's Needed?Secondary school graduation Diploma.Industrial mechanic trade certification 433A required.A minimum of two (2) years previous experience in manufacturing required.Superior problem solving and time management skills.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Has strong interpersonal skills and maintains constructive working relationships.Must have the ability to work independently within a defined/documented schedule.Computer literate and with a working knowledge of MS Office products.Has a clear understanding of potential health and safety hazards within a manufacturing facility and is knowledgeable of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.MUST have/use all hand tools necessary to perform maintenance and repairs.What's in it for me?Pay rate: $43.50 per hourShift: Monday to Friday (Night shifts Only)Extended health and dental benefitsCompany PensionEmployee assistance programPaid time offOn-site ParkingIf this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now.You can also email your resume to Shreyas.patel@manpower.com.
