Naylor Building Partnerships Inc. is currently recruiting for an HR Assistant - Co-op Student to join our Human Resources team for the September to December, 2024 Fall work term. The successful candidate must be in an accredited co-operative education program, and be able to work full-time from our Oakville office location (not a remote role).Responsibilities:Provide recruitment support to the HR Department which includes screening resumes, posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, references, drafting offers etc.Coordinate the process for new hires and conduct orientationsUpdate and maintain HRIS system, i.e. vacation tracking, updating training records etc.Organize various training initiativesProvide back-up for WSIB claims administration and maintain WSIB logGeneral office duties, such as answering phones, filing, drafting employee communication and correspondence, production of various reports etc.Requirements:Certificate/College Diploma or University Degree in Human Resources Management in progressStrong administrative skills, specifically MS Word, Excel and PowerPointOrganizational skills and ability to multitaskStrong written and verbal communication skillsRelationship-building skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle confidential informationProfessionalism, tact and diplomacyWe are committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free workplace that reflects the communities we serve.
