We pride ourselves in having a team ethos and employee-centric environment.Due to growth at Aztech IT we now have a need for a IT Support Field Technician to join our Field Services Team. The successful candidate will be customer focused, experienced supporting external clients as a 2nd line IT Support Technician, and have previous 2nd Line IT support experience on client sites working for an IT managed service provider (MSP). You will join our Service Delivery Team based out of the Milton Keynes office.The successful IT Support Field Technician will have a strong technical background supporting Microsoft products (Azure, Office 365, Windows 10 / 11) along with supporting multiple client sites, or you will have previously supported multiple IT infrastructures with various technical challenges. You will be motivated, a natural problem solver and able to follow the process of using a ticketing system. The successful candidate will ensure that our customers receive an excellent and consistent service experience.Key ResponsibilitiesActing as the client facing representative for all technical service requests on clients sites in Milton Keynes, and surrounding counties as well as provide site support / cover for Aztech IT team members in Brighton, London, and Woking (this is split across the team throughout the calendar year).Logging and maintaining support issues detail throughout a service ticket lifecycle (using ConnectWise Manage)Responding appropriately to more complex problems through escalation.Prioritisation and management of workload to ensure client SLAs are met.Owning, managing, and resolving incidents, completing requests and change requests in line with our SLA’s.Identifying opportunities for improvement both technically and in processes for clients and internally.Skills / Attributes RequiredMinimum of 2 years experience supporting SME’s or multi client sites in a client facing role.Clear and confident communicator at all levels and abilitiesAble to deliver and troubleshoot complex technical solutionsStrong communication and documentation skillsGood time management and prioritisation skillsFull UK driving licence (a company vehicle will be provided for client site visits).Essential Technical KnowledgeOffice 365AzureActive DirectoryWindows 10PC & Server hardwareIntuneConnectWise or similar ticketing systemDesirable Technical KnowledgeVMwareFirewall configurationNetworking (Switch management, Wi-Fi Access point management, router configuration)Windows ServerSharePointDesirable Qualifications / CertificationsAZ-104Microsoft 365 Certified: FundamentalsCCNAPackage DetailsSalary is up to £35k pa, dependant on experience and accreditations.Use of Company car / van (you must have a full UK driving licence)24 Days Holiday Increasing with 2 & 3 years service plus 1 day off for your birthday each yearThe hours of work are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.Based out of our Milton Keynes Office with client visits in Milton Keynes, and surrounding counties plus London travel (travel expenses are paid monthly and train travel is purchased by Aztech IT ahead of any pending travel to client sites).Employee and Office BenefitsExcellent training / development opportunities via The Aztech Academy.Paid technical training portal and exam bonus - LinkedIn LearningPerkbox - Hundreds of different perks delivered to your mailbox weeklyPaid for company nights outHealth cash plan - This includes 40% off Nuffield Gyms.This is a UK based role and we are unable to offer sponsorship.
