This role is critical for the continued growth and success of the business.The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient and effective operation of production machinery and equipment. The Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining, designing, and improving the manufacturing processes, thereby enhancing productivity, ensuring the highest quality standards, and reducing downtime.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in the ongoing growth and success of the company and its clients, gaining essential business acumen experience.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or Higher.At least Three years of full-time relevant work experience in a similar industry.Hands-on expertise with machinery maintenance, design, and process optimisation in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practicesIn this role your main responsibilities include:Designing and developing mechanical systems and machinery for chocolate production.Conducting regular maintenance and inspections to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely.Troubleshooting mechanical failures and implementing effective solutions promptly.Collaborating with the production team to improve manufacturing processes and reduce waste.Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.Managing and coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs and upgrades.Documenting and maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and machinery performance.Performing routine and preventive maintenance on all production machinery to prevent breakdowns.Identifying and resolving mechanical issues quickly to minimize production downtime.Analysing current production processes and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.Ensuring all mechanical operations comply with industry safety standards and regulations.Work closely with stakeholders to assist in the design and development of mechanical and process systemsOther key skills and experience will include:Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to machinery maintenance and operation.Excellent communication skills to work effectively with the production team, management, and external contractors.Strong understanding of engineering standards and compliance requirementsExtensive experience in developing and reviewing engineering drawings, calculations and documentation.Technical competence in design requirements and process implementationApply now by sending your resume to seemaguptafc@gmail.com.Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and your application will be treated as strictly confidential.Target Business Services
