PermEver thought of joining us at Career Connect?We are looking to recruit an Engagement Worker to join our friendly community team in Manchester. They will become part of a team that provides careers support to 16–18-year-olds who are not in education, employment or training, helping them to identify their career ambitions and move into fulfilling employment and training. The role will be based at our office at The Millennium Powerhouse in Moss Side though you will mainly be working in venues in the community in South Manchester.You will need the skills to be able to effectively engage young people and help them to overcome any challenges that they face so that they can succeed in education, training and work. You will also work with parents, carers and a range of colleagues from training providers and support services for young people, as well as employers so strong communication skills are essential.Career Connect is a charity making a huge difference to the lives of young people, adults and families by providing support services that help them turn career ambitions into reality.
