You prefer many daily projects over fewer long projects that could take days, weeks or months.You love checklists and, if you're not given them, you build them.You take pride in your work, delivering a high performance accuracy.You don't like standing around and you are always finding ways to help.You like to make things better and find ways to improve processes and make jobs easier to complete.You love being accountable for and reporting on your work completed.Your stamp of approval means the job was done right and done well!You are interested in growing with the company long term.Job Duty Requirements:Accounting degree with 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience OR 5+ years of equivalent experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting principles.Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.2+ years of Quickbooks Desktop experience preferredExperience of general Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processesReconciles cash disbursement accounts, credit card accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts.Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.Experience in automotive repair and/or auto body and collision repair is a plus!Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.Performs month-end and year-end closing activitiesPerforms other related duties as assigned.Exemplify company culture and values.Pay / Hours: We are considering qualified candidates for FT work. Your work hours will be between 8:00 am and 5 pm M-F. We assume a 40 hour work week.
