An exciting opportunity exists for a Nurse Practitioner skilled in Stomal Therapy and Wound Management to lead and deliver expert clinical leadership in the provision and coordination of contemporary, person-centred care. The Nurse Practitioner Stomal Therapy / Wound Management is responsible for coordinating and delivering advanced expertise in the specialties of Stomal Therapy, Wound Management and Pressure Injury Prevention and Management to members of the multi-disciplinary team, patients and carers. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.Key Responsibilities include:Clinical lead for the activities of the Stomal Therapy and Wound Management Outpatients Clinic which manages consumers requiring rapid access, post discharge and chronic condition care.Clinical lead for stomal therapy, wound management and pressure injury prevention and management services for inpatients across the facilities of the SCHHS.Collaborate with nursing, medical and allied health staff in a team approach, supported by evidence and research to achieve optimal outcomes and meet the needs of consumers with stomas, wounds and pressure injuries.Provide clinical leadership that influences and progresses clinical care, policy and collaboration through all levels of health care.Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $177,797 p.a., comprising salary rates: $75.27 - $78.59 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 8) (Fixed-Term Temporary Part-Time position up to 15/12/2024, hrs negotiable).
