Think Carrie Bradshaw meets Leslie Knope. Most importantly, you are a team player who takes their work seriously, but not themselves. You feel comfortable in a team of people who work hard but have a whole lot of fun doing it, and geek out on organization. You are passionate about content creation with a discerning eye for visual design and layout, and love seeing the fruits of your labor in the data-driven details!Who We Are:We are the Communications and Creative arm of Informa Markets’ North America business. We run social media accounts for our colleagues that gives them real-time information, in a fun way, wherever they are, we create videos that bring people and initiatives to life in exciting ways, we partner with journalists to promote the amazing internal brands we work with, we bring Town Halls to life with fun themes like ‘Full House’ and ‘Saturday Night Live’, and we distribute dynamic newsletters with targeted, digestible content that our colleagues actually look forward to reading!Ok, but what is Informa Markets?Informa Markets is the exhibitions division of Informa, a top 100 company on the London Stock Exchange. For a little extra insight, you can check out this video of our President, Nancy Walsh: .Key Role Responsibilities:Content Creation and Management:Write snappy content for newsletters, internal communications, and social media channels. We are looking for someone who knows that great prose cures most woes.Create, curate, and manage published content (images, videos, written) to enhance community engagement.Develop an editorial calendar to manage and plan timely, relevant content. If you put the ‘Amen’ in Type A, you’re a perfect fit.Data Management and Reporting:Utilize data to drive content strategy and optimize community engagement initiatives. We are nerds about insights, and need someone to help us manage our data.Analyze campaigns and translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.Report on community engagement metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly. We try to make a point of learning something new every day.Collaboration and Community Building:Work closely with commercial leadership and their teams to create a regular cadence of highly targeted communication. In other words, learn the business and help the business learn about us!Partner with central leadership on critical projects and initiatives, translating them into easily digestible soundbites to lower incidence rates of head scratching.Serve as a key liaison between the communications team leads, commercial teams, and key internal partners, ensuring alignment with divisional objectives. (And we have a lot of ducks)Promote colleague achievements and improve community interactions through authentic and accessible communication.Make friends! Build relationships and be a true collaborative partner. We are a very team-oriented and collaborative group who leverages one another’s strengths for success.QualificationsExperience and Skills:At least five years of experience in a related field (marketing, copywriting, communications, journalism).Proven experience in a complex, matrixed organization. (Or the spirit to dive right into one!)Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.Highly proficient in PowerPoint and content management systems.Ability to synthesize and package information effectively and efficiently.Comfortable using data to drive decisions and strategies.A kind human being and good teammate.Desirable:Experience with social media content creation and management.Graphic design skills, including designing email templates.Experience in filming and editing video content.Familiarity with corporate branding guidelines.The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $82,000 depending on experience.This posting will automatically expire on August 12, 2024.Additional InformationWe work hard to make sure Life at Informa is rewarding, supportive and enjoyable for everyone.
