A Logistics Coordinator role has opened up in the Defence and Transport space in Bristol. This is a Permanent role, ideal for a dedicated team member.Coordinate and track deliveries to ensure timely delivery.Manage relationships with logistics service providers.Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines.Prepare accurate reports for upper management.Ensure logistics processes align with legal and safety protocols.Handle issues arising in transportation and logistics coordination.Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems.Great culture: family business that has become a top company within the space|Excellent progression: due to growth plenty of opportunities can ariseA successful Logistics Coordinator should have:A good understanding of the Logistics Distribution and Transport industry.Strong coordination skills and a detail-oriented approach.Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and service providers.Ability to handle logistics coordination in a fast-paced environment.Strong IT literacy and understanding of MS Office. For the use of bespoke internal/external software, Training will be given.Have a good understanding of WTD, legal compliance and driver's hours.Have motivation to grow within the business.Experience in a transport/freight forwarding related industry is preferential but not necessarily needed.Our client is an established family run business in the Defence and Transport space.
